Tennis champ

Andrew and I love our frequent tennis date nights. And I've been playing competitively for four years now. Our tennis friends have been trying to talk us into playing USTA for the past couple of years. And Andrew finally said YES.

And he had an amazing rookie season.
He played doubles and went 5-1.
Woo hoo!
His team rocked and they were the local champions!

That meant they got to play in the State tournament.
This year, it was held in Winston-Salem.
His first two matches were doubles.
It was hard to get pics of him behind that netting.
He went 1-1.

For his final match, he played singles--
his first time this season.
He played great and won pretty easily.
His team ended up finishing 3rd in the state.
So cool!

Way to go, Drew!
So proud of him.

B was gone to a temple trip that afternoon,
but the girls and I went up to watch.
We celebrated with DELICIOUS gelato afterward. Yum.

  2. Fun!!! Next time we're all in Utah we'll have to play some doubles matches before we let you tackle the Ninja Warrior course.
