Time Out for Women Richmond

Attending Time Out for Women has become a tradition for Shelley and me, but this year we added April and Erika to the fun.  Woo hoo!  The more the merrier! We had such a fun, quick weekend getaway.

Dinner at Scott and Amy's Mellow Mushroom before the conference.

Michael McLean
We got to see parts of his one-woman show, Threads.

This woman was amazing in it!
(I thought my girls would like her as the teenager.)

Shelley and I are always looking for excuses to take
pictures in feather boas!

And they can double as lion's manes.

We got to hear Sandra Turley again.
Love her.

Small world--I ran in to Brooke,
an old friend from Winslow!

Mercy River performed.
They were great.
I tried to tell Shelley and Erika that we could
be performers in next year's TOFW if we start practicing.
They weren't convinced.

Major props to Andrew for taking over parenting duties for the weekend. And big thanks to April's MIL for letting all of us crash at her place. It was a great weekend to laugh, be silly, cry (or at least get tears in the corners of my eyes), and to be uplifted by the Spirit as well as good friends.

  1. I love a girl who gets tears in the corners of her eyes! And LOVE the feather boa pictures! Do you remember a couple of years ago when Tony was wearing the exact color of mustard as Mercy River at TOFW? (same color as the boas come to think of it!). Fantastic opportunity - so glad you were able to go!
