Performer

Brandon is doing well in band this year and actually enjoying it. Music is one of his talents. It comes pretty easily to him, but he hasn't always liked it. So it makes me happy to see him working and improving. He tries out for All-District band (a new experience for him) next weekend.

He made all-county band again this year. The concert was while Andrew and I were off in the Bahamas. We were sad to miss it, but glad that Gigi and Grandpa could hear him perform.

B is also back to doing rock climbing, which he loves. He took a break while he was trying out for wrestling, but when that didn't work out, he was happy to be back in the rock climbing gym. They are working on speed climbing right now. He was made for speed climbing and has learned some techniques to improve his time. Here was one of his speed climbs:

Now he's begging us to build things at home that he can climb.
