Our quick five-state road trip

Christmas was so much fun.  And we took the next couple of days to just hang out around the house, play games, watch movies, and spend time with friends.  Then we took off on a road triip.  Woo hoo!  My favorite!  First we headed up to Louisville to celebrate Drake and Emily's marriage at their open house.  So happy for them! It snowed while we were there, which the kids LOVED. 

After a couple of days in Kentucky, we headed back to NC to spend New Year's with my cousins, Ryan and Destinee and their family.  It's become our tradition and we always have a great time with them.  We ended up passing through five states (NC, WV, VA, KY, and TN) in five days.  Awesome.  Then we had one day left to be lazy at home before sending the kids back to school.  And Andrew to work.

Long talks with Andrew while we spent hours in the car together.

Very fun and memorable way to say goodbye to 2012 and ring in 2013!
